TORONTO – The Toronto Zoo’s three remaining elephants will reportedly begin their road trip to the PAWS Wildlife Sanctuary in California today.

A media report cites a union representative who says the plan is to begin the move this Thursday morning.

Toronto City Council voted in 2011 to send the three elephants to the PAWS Wildlife Sanctuary in Sacramento.
