Niagara Regional Police (NRPS) have laid charges against a 34-year-old St. Catharines man and are investigating another persons involvement in a July stabbing at a St. Catharines bus shelter.
Detectives say the man and woman got into an argument with another man on July 19 at the bus terminal on Carlisle Street.
The victim would later be sent to hospital with a serious injury after he endured a knife wound during a physical altercation.
The two suspects fled the scene.
Police retrieved security camera images of the man and woman being sought and publicly released the footage on Thursday afternoon.
On Friday, the male suspect was arrested and charged thanks to tips from the public, according to an NRPS spokesperson.
Detectives say they also were able to identify the woman involved and are investigating her involvement in the occurrence.
The accused is facing three charges, aggravated assault, assault with a weapon and failing to comply with release order.
