Asked by a British publication about the piece, the Canadian-born editor of the magazine confirmed: “It’ll run.”

Graydon Carter, a native of Toronto, told The Times Magazine: “She sort of forced my hand.”

Breaking news from Canada and around the world sent to your email, as it happens.

He is referring to an email Paltrow reportedly sent to her celebrity friends in May urging them not to cooperate with Vanity Fair.

Vanity Fair is threatening to put me on the cover of their magazine,” she wrote, according to the New York Times. “If you are asked for quotes or comments, please decline. Also, I recommend you all never do this magazine again.”

It is not known what the Vanity Fair exposé will reveal about the 41-year-old actress, who is married to Coldplay singer Chris Martin.
