SASKATOON – A man is facing seven charges after an incident involving a machete at a Saskatoon nightclub early Monday morning.
Just before 2 a.m., Saskatoon police were told a male was threatening people with a machete at a nightclub in the 800-block of Central Avenue.
A 20-year-old suspect was quickly located and taken into custody.
He is charged with possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, carrying a concealed weapon, wearing a disguise while committing an indictable offence and four counts of assault with a weapon.
The accused will be seen by a Justice of the Peace Monday.
