The Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service (WFPS) battled a house fire that broke out Wednesday morning.
The blaze at, a home on Loudoun Road, south of Wilkes Avenue, was declared under control just before 7:40 a.m.

The WFPS said no one was hurt in the fire, and that all occupants of the house were able to get out safely before firefighters arrived. The cause of the blaze is still under investigation, but the house suffered extensive damage from fire, water and smoke.

The residents were helped by the city’s Emergency Social Services in finding temporary accommodations.
