After a year hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Edmonton Oil Kings were back for their 14th Teddy Bear Toss Saturday evening.
A total of 12,407 bears were tossed when Camrose native, Graydon Gotaas scored the Oil Kings’ first goal. It was extra special for Gotaas as it was his first career goal with the team — something previously done by only two other players.
The 2021 themed jerseys were unveiled this week in support of front-line workers.
