LACHINE, Que. – A firebombing was unsuccessful after a Molotov cocktail failed to ignite when an arsonist tried to burn down a pizzeria early Thursday morning.
At around 1:30 a.m., an incendiary device was thrown into Champion Pizza in Lachine, but it wasn’t that incendiary.
The Molotov cocktail failed to ignite, disappearing in a burst of smoke.
Police confirmed that no one was inside the restaurant at the time; also noting that the same restaurant had been attacked several weeks ago.
