TORONTO — Chris Kirkpatrick of pop act ‘N Sync said Wednesday fans who enjoyed the group’s brief reunion on last month’s MTV Video Music Awards shouldn’t hold their breaths for more.
Appearing on Global’s The Morning Show, the 41-year-old singer was asked if ‘N Sync will do a reunion tour.
“No,” he replied firmly. “We’re all doing our own thing.”
Kirkpatrick admitted he was initially nervous about getting back together on stage with Justin Timberlake, JC Chasez, Joey Fatone and Lance Bass.

“For a week leading up to rehearsals I was nervous,” he said, “but once we all got together and we were going over the routine and singing together again, I wasn’t nervous at all. It was easy.”
Physically, not so much.
“It was a long road getting back to what you saw,” Kirkpatrick said. “It was a lot of, ‘the knee won’t go there anymore.'”
Kirkpatrick also spoke about meeting Justin Bieber after one of the Canadian pop star’s shows. He said Bieber is a “great kid” with “a level head on his shoulders.”
The former ‘N Sync star did have some words of support for the Biebs, though.
“He was really down on himself and I said, ‘Listen you miss one little thing here and there… the audience is so appreciative that you’re there. Enjoy it.”
