Calgary will see 27 people vie to be mayor in on Oct. 18 the upcoming municipal election.
Another 100 people are running for council seats in the city’s 14 wards.
Mayor Naheed Nenshi announced earlier this year that he would not be running — leaving the job open to the myriad of contenders looking to claim the spot.
A number of new faces will be on council this year as some councillors are running for mayor and others have stepped down.
