CALGARY- It’s been three months since a Calgary chiropractor was killed while on a trip to St. Louis, but his death still remains a mystery.
Dr. Geoffrey Wilson had studied in Missouri, and returned for a friend’s wedding in May. Just hours after his plane touched down on the tarmac, his mother got a life-changing phone call from a hospital.

“She said, ‘we have your son here and he was badly injured,’” Virginia Wilson recalls. “He had a brain injury and then he’s bleeding…a lot of broken ribs.”
Doctors were unable to save him.
Police say Wilson died of blunt force trauma, and he was originally found in his car. Virginia Wilson travelled to St. Louis, to see the scene for herself and try to piece together what went wrong.

“For my son to die like that, not knowing what really happened is very heartbreaking.”
Investigators consider Wilson’s death suspicious and say they have several theories, but no real evidence. No witnesses have come forward, and area surveillance cameras were not helpful.
