Saskatchewan Roughriders re-sign kick-returner/defensive back Jackson

REGINA – Tristan Jackson is back with the Saskatchewan Roughriders.

The veteran defensive back/kick-returner re-signed with the Riders on Wednesday.

The five-foot-eight, 185-pound Jackson spent the last two seasons with Saskatchewan. Jackson, 27, appeared in 13 regular-season games in 2012, registering 30 kickoff returns for 794 yards, 32 punt returns for 303 yards and four missed field goal returns for 267 yards, taking one back 129 yards for a TD.

Jackson also recorded 20 tackles, five pass knockdowns and an interception.

Jackson began his CFL career in 2008 with Edmonton and has played in 69 career regular-season games.
