One dead after crash on Highway 1 at Wolseley, Sask.

WOLSELEY, Sask. – RCMP are investigating a fatal crash that happened early Sunday morning on Highway 1.

A southbound van collided with an eastbound pickup truck at the west access to Wolseley, Sask.

A 57-year-old man inside the van was killed.

A second person inside the van was airlifted to hospital in Regina.

Both people in the pickup truck were also taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The eastbound lane had been blocked off by emergency vehicles but has since reopened.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
