Abbotsford police say they have recovered five young kittens stolen from a home in Abbotsford, B.C.
The kittens were stolen after a suspect entered a home in the 32900-block of Bevan Avenue through an unlocked door around 3 a.m. Tuesday, police said.
Because they were just 10 days old, police said the kittens were at risk after being separated from their mother, Mittens.
Police said they were overwhelmed with tips from the public about the theft, and that by Wednesday afternoon all five animals had been recovered and returned to Mittens.

One of the kittens was brought to the SPCA Wednesday afternoon, police said, and police were then able to track down the other four.
In addition to the kittens, passports and an Apple TV were stolen.
