Human remains found Tuesday in North York are so badly burned police cannot yet say whether they have the body of a man or woman.
"There’s been no identification. We have no idea if it’s male or female right now," said Const. Norman Smart of Toronto Police Service.
The charred body was discovered Tuesday evening by someone who was walking in the area of Torbarrie Road, just south of Sheppard Avenue West.
Police are awaiting autopsy results before they can say more.
