REGINA – A new customer care and billing system being installed by SaskEnergy is going to affect customers.

During this time, customer service offices throughout the province will be unable to accommodate walk-in traffic or answer inquiries through the general toll-free line on Friday.

SaskEnergy says the disruption will not affect their ability to respond to safety-related or emergency call through the 24-hour emergency phone line.

The disruption will also not affect online self-serve options such as transferring, disconnecting or connecting natural gas services.

The new system will help the crown utility bill over 15,000 customers a day and manage more than 365,000 accounts.
