Edmonton – A man walked into a 7-Eleven convenience store at 118 Avenue and 127 Street early Tuesday morning saying he’d been shot.

The victim, in his early 20s, was taken to hospital in serious but stable condition.

Police believe the man was shot at a different location before walking over to the 7-Eleven.

Air1 and the Edmonton Police Service Canine Unit helped officers search the area around the store, including nearby apartment buildings, looking for evidence and possible witnesses.

Police have yet to locate any suspects.

West Division detectives are investigating.
