Stacy Ross

Though Stacy learned ‘1st base…2nd base…3rd base’ before she learned ‘A…B…C…’ you are more likely to have seen Stacy on the stage in local theatre productions than broadcasting sports on your TV screen. She received her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Theatre from the University of Victoria in 1997 and has been involved in such productions as “A Little Night Music,” with the Victoria Conservatory of Music’s Opera Studio, “Macbeth” (as Lady Macbeth) in the Victoria Shakespeare Festival, “Tartuffe” and “Loot” with the Victoria Theatre Guild and “The Music Man,” with the Nanaimo Theatre Group. Stacy has lived in Victoria most of her life with the exception of three years spent as a television broadcaster in Dawson Creek, B.C. She moved to Dawson Creek after completing the Applied Communication program at Camosun College. She missed the West Coast too much to stay up north for long. She’s now happily living in Sooke with her partner Don, her pets and her two kids.
