There are safety concerns over plans for three railway bridges in the Lower Mainland.
All three are lift bridges, which raise up to allow larger boats to pass beneath them, and all three are controlled by actual human beings.
But CN Rail has plans to automate the bridges, including the one that run parallel to the Iron Worker’s Memorial Bridge across the Second Narrows.
