BROSSARD – A year old cyclist died Tuesday morning when she crashed into a car at a bicycle crossing in Brossard around 8 am.

The 56-year old woman was pronounced dead an hour later.

The 20-ish driver of the car, suffering from a nervous shock, was brought to the hospital.

While police plan on questioning him, neither alcohol nor drugs appear to be factors in the accident.
