TORONTO – Traffic continues to be a problem at Broadview Avenue and Gerrard Street after a four-alarm fire destroyed a three storey building early Saturday morning.
Toronto Transit Commission streetcars number 504, 505, and 506 are being diverted while the charred building is demolished.

Two firefighters were injured during the blaze that engulfed a supermarket on the ground floor and apartments above it.
Crews were able to rescue and account for all of the 11 residents.
The damage to the building is estimated to be about $2-million.
The cause of the fire is still unknown and an investigation is ongoing.
