The University of Regina Student’s Union is trying to force the Canadian Federation of Students to release the results of a referendum by seeking a court injunction.
In October students voted on whether URSU should remain a member of CFS, a national lobby group which represents several universities across Canada.
The results have not been released due to a disagreement about the eligibility of First Nations University of Canada students to vote in the referendum.
URSU is calling for a court injunction as a last resort in order to get the ballots counted.
