West Vancouver police are investigating a hit-and-run where a driver allegedly hit a pedestrian walking on the sidewalk.
It happened just before 10 a.m. Wednesday near 15th Street and Fulton Avenue, according to police.
Investigators say the 62-year-old man suffered “significant arm injuries.”

“Witnesses who have come forward have stated that the pedestrian travelled on the hood of the vehicle for approximately a block before ending up on the sidewalk,” said Const. Nicole Braithwaite.
“The suspect vehicle may have significent damage to the front end and the undercarriage.”
Police said Thursday they had located and seized the suspect vehicle, and older-model white Toyota RAV-4, but were still seeking additional witnesses to the collision.
