REGINA – Fire crews were kept busy battling a blaze at the Sherwood Motel on South Albert Street Friday morning.
The fire started just before 4 a.m. on the main floor of the hotel in the south east corner of the building.

Firefighters don’t believe anyone was inside the building and there are no reports of any injuries.
Officials will not say if the blaze was suspicious but the fire marshall has ordered overnight security for the property.
Traffic was temporarily restricted on Albert Street but has since returned to normal.
Fire inspectors will remain on scene for the remainder of Friday morning.
