“It was a violent robbery, usually there’s not a lot of force,” said Hold-Up Squad Staff Inspector Mike Earl. “This was an animal act, holding the teller by the throat.”
One suspect was carrying a black handgun which can visibly be seen in the video.
The amount of money stolen was not disclosed but police say there were dye packs and the suspects may have had colouring on their clothing.
The perpetrators are described as both male black, mid-20s, between 5’8” and 6’0” and 180 pounds.
Anyone with information is asked to contact police or Crime Stoppers.
