After humble beginnings as a book trailer in 1990, the Sunrise Library has grown into a staple in Regina’s southeast.
On Saturday the library celebrated 20 years in Regina and is now located in the Sandra Schmirler Leisure Centre. The event included balloon animals and activities for the kids.
“Twenty years shows that this community has had the benefit of the library, right in their community, and providing the good services that we provide”, Darlene Hincks-Joehnck of the Regina Public Library Board said. “We’re happy to do that and will continue to provide that service.”
