It appears the Lethbridge Hurricanes may have decided on a new head coach.
Sources close to the team say former NHL defenceman Drake Berehowsky is expected to take over the top job.
Berehowsky, 41, played over 500 games in the NHL and also has experience as an assistant coach in the AHL and Ontario Hockey League.

Hurricanes’ team officials say there is no update on the coaching hunt.
Last week, GM Brad Robson told Global the club’s search had been narrowed to four candidates, expecting an announcement to come this week or next.
The team does have a news conference scheduled for June 13, though it is unlikely a new coach would be named at that event.
Last year, Berehowsky led the ECHL’s expansion Orlando Solar Bears to a 28-37-7 record.
