Gallery: Animals displaced from Oklahoma tornadoes rescued

TORONTO – Over 80 pets in need of homes after the Oklahoma City tornado last week are up for adoption.

Several employees from the Palm Beach County Humane Society traveled to Oklahoma City to bring animals in need of shelther  back to Tri County  Humane Society in Boca, Florida. The animals were left homeless after a EF5 storm struck several suburbs in Oklahoma City on May 24, killing 24 along its path.

According to the Tri County Humane Society Facebook page, 64 dogs and 16 cats were rescued. Workers from the Humane Society traveled in two vans from Palm Beach County to Oklahoma City, back to Boca for the 22-hour road trip.
