A tragic turn of events in a Manitoba toddler’s health has his parents demanding answers.
Manitoba health is investigating an incident involving their 2-year-old son.
On May 2nd, Morgan Moar Campbell was suffering from a seizure and needed to be transported to the Winnipeg Children’s Hospital by STARS Air Ambulance. He was put into a medically induced coma and intubated for the journey.

According to the family, on May 10th, STARS informed them the breathing tube became dislodged during transport and their son was without oxygen for 30 minutes. The small boy suffered severe brain damage.
“Our deepest sympathy to the family. Everyone here at the base has been quite deeply affect by this incident,” said Dr. Doug Martin with STARS. “We know this is a difficult time for the family and our hearts are with them.”
STARS says they are unable to comment on the details of the incident until after the investigation is completed.
