The Kootenays, Okanagan Valley, and South Thompson areas could expect about 25-40 mm of rain to fall by Thursday. Some areas could get as much as 50 mm.
The BC Peace River region will continue to see heavy amounts of rain as well.

A snowfall warning is in effect for the area of Fort Nelson, which could see 5 to 10 cm of snow fall overnight and into Wednesday.
The same amount of snow could fall on the mountain passes as well.
For the south coast, rain is expected to turn to showers over the next 24 hours.
