CALGARY – Police say two pop bottle bombs that exploded in the SW community of Kingsland Saturday evening could have caused serious injuries or worse.

Police arrested two young men near the scene, and are still looking for one suspect.

Residents in the 1000 block of 75th avenue SW reported hearing two explosions in the alley Saturday around 7:00pm.

The Calgary police TAC team was called in to investigate.

The team deployed a robot and found the remnants of two exploded devices and two unexploded devices.

There were no injuries or property damage.
