WINNIPEG — The owner of La Bamba says current Manitoba liquor laws put multiple hurdles in his way when he opened the restaurant in Winnipeg’s new Sports, Hospitality and Entertainment District last year.

In the end, he opened a restaurant with just a dining room — which makes it impossible to give some customers what they want.
