Edmonton – A 12-year-old was taken to hospital in serious condition Sunday night after he was struck by a vehicle.
Police say the boy was riding a bicycle through an intersection at 137 Avenue and 42 Street when he was hit.

Officers say the boy has suffered serious injuries to his leg and head.
Police continue to investigate the incident, but they say alcohol was not a factor.
