WINNIPEG — The Assiniboine Park Zoo unveils its newest animals on Friday morning.

The birds will be on display at a new zoo exhibit dubbed Penguin Cove until Sept. 30.
The penguins arrived in Winnipeg on Tuesday and have been adapting to their new home.
The penguins will join Hudson the polar bear among the zoo’s new exhibits for 2013.
The zoo will also open a new Australian Walkabout on May 17. It will feature the opportunity to get up close and personal with 14 red kangaroos and emus.
