3-vehicle crash leaves one dead: Strathroy-Caradoc police

Strathroy-Caradoc police are investigating after a woman was killed in a three-vehicle crash.

According to police, emergency services were called to a collision on Adelaide Road near Olde Drive just before 5:30 p.m. Wednesday.

On Thursday afternoon, police revealed that the investigation suggests a northbound vehicle “crossed the centre line, clipped a southbound automobile and then collided head-on with a pick-up truck.”

The 23-year-old woman driving the northbound automobile was pronounced dead in hospital. Two men in the pick-up truck were taken to Victoria Hospital in London but have since been released. The female driver of the other vehicle involved was not injured.

Police are not releasing the name of the deceased at the request of the family.
