Saskatchewan RCMP say a high-risk controlled drug and substances warrant was executed at a residence in the 1100 block of 106 Street in North Battleford at about 3 a.m. Saturday.
Three men and five women were arrested without incident, according to RCMP.
The Battlefords RCMP and the “F” Division Emergency Response Team carried out the warrant, creating an increased police presence in that area.
A subsequent search by police found several firearms, stolen property, and evidence of drug trafficking.
