Calgary police are investigating after a fatal collision in the city’s southwest on Saturday.
Police were called around 4:30 a.m. for reports of a single-vehicle crash between Richmond Road and Highway 8 S.W.

Southbound Sarcee Trail was closed at Richmond Road and northbound at 45 Street S.W.
According to police, the collision reconstruction team was on scene for some time.
Police are also asked drivers to avoid the area.
