Toronto police have arrested and charged two of three men wanted on Canada-wide warrants for the shooting death of a 26-year-old man in the west end earlier in May.
Mississauga resident Andre Douse, 21, surrendered to police Wednesday night after he was charged with first-degree murder of Blain Gerrardo Grindley. Michael Smith, a 29-year-old Brampton resident, surrendered on Victoria Day and faces the same charge.
Mississauga resident Dayne Sitladeen, 27, is also charged with first-degree murder and is still wanted on a Canada-wide arrest warrant.
Police said Grindley was found unresponsive by officers in a townhouse complex in Etobicoke, on John Garland Boulevard, near Humber College Boulevard, after 1 p.m. on May 1.
The Toronto resident was pronounced dead at the scene.
In a press conference on Wednesday afternoon, Toronto police identified the three men wanted for the murder in the investigation. Investigators said the suspects should be considered “armed and dangerous.”

Sitladeen, 27, is described as five-foot-eight and 146 pounds.
Homicide squad Det. Steve Henkel said an extensive video canvass was done at the time of the murder. He said working with police partners in the Greater Toronto Area as well as witness interviews, investigators were led to the three suspects.
He added that he could not discuss the motives behind the murder.
Global News spoke to Grindley’s mother, Allison Ashley, last week and she described her son as fun and loving. She said she wanted him to be remembered as someone who cared deeply for his family and friends.
Anyone with information is asked not to approach the suspect, and to call 911 immediately.
