Police sources tell Global News that a man was stabbed in his genitals in an east-end Toronto apartment building on Sunday and his alleged attacker then jumped off of a balcony from the seventh floor.
Sources said the man was attacked in what is believed to have been an alleged domestic violence incident and then, according to a witness, walked around the building naked and bleeding after he was stabbed.
“I saw a guy … naked, asking for help, and he was bleeding,” said Lydia Ijan, who lives on the seventh floor of 90 Parma Ct.
Ijan added that she saw police remove a large knife from the scene following the incident.

Earlier in the day, a police spokesperson confirmed that they had received reports of a stabbing around 9:10 a.m. at a residential building in the area of Victoria Park Avenue and Parma Court, near Victoria Park and Eglinton Avenue.
A spokesperson for Toronto police said officers located a man with serious stab wounds in the area.
Paramedics then rushed him to Sunnybrook Hospital, where he remains in life-threatening condition.
Police said a second person was found with injuries at the scene but would not provide their gender or describe how they were injured.
However, police said the second person’s injuries were non-life-threatening.
Sources later told Global News that the second injured person is a woman who was allegedly involved in the attack and proceeded to jump from the seventh storey of the building.
Diedre Martin, 42, has been arrested. She has been charged with attempted murder, aggravated assault, assault with a weapon and possession of weapons dangerous to the public peace.
