Dozens of Regent Avenue Costco Shoppers were put in danger Thursday night when a pickup truck crashed through the parking lot, hitting three other vehicles before coming to a stop.
Witnesses told Global News the scene was pure chaos, as shoppers ran to avoid being hit.

“He crossed and sort of fell over the median, ricocheted, smashing cars,” said Kendra Eisner who was just walking into the store when the mayhem started. “We just heard thump, thump, thump, and the car came to a stop and everyone was screaming, run inside!”
Another witness said there were two men inside the truck. When it finally stopped passers-by were able to hold down one of the occupants but the other fled.
There were drivers inside the vehicles hit, but no one was seriously injured.
Winnipeg police said Thursday night that they’re investigating the event as an impaired driving incident. Officers were interviewing witnesses as they tried to piece the scene together.
