Surrey RCMP is hoping a member of the public will, and has released the composite sketches in the hopes of tracking down a suspect in a sex assault alleged to have taken place in Newton earlier this month.

According to police, it happened around 9:30 p.m. on March 13, on 124th Street near 72nd Avenue.

Mounties say the suspect grabbed and groped a woman as she walked northbound on 124th Street. She was able to break free, but police say the suspect then followed her to her front door and tried to assault her again.

The woman was able to get into her home without being assaulted again, and the man was last seen heading southbound on 124th Street.
