Breslau break-in likely connected to 6 Guelph break-ins: police
Guelph police say six break-ins that took place overnight on Monday are likely connected to another incident at a restaurant in Breslau that was caught on video.
Little Greek Fresh Grill on Breslau’s Townsend Drive was broken into on Monday at 3 a.m., according to Waterloo police.
The restaurant posted surveillance video on its Facebook page showing someone throwing what appears to be a rock at the glass door until it smashes.
Once inside, the suspect allegedly took money from the cash register and fled in a red Dodge Neon.
Guelph police said officers are investigating six break-ins that took place at around the same time and appear to be similar in nature.
They happened in the city’s west end, according to police, and the two suspects were allegedly seen driving a red Dodge Neon.
Police said three businesses on Woodlawn Road West were broken into, along with one on Silvercreek Parkway North and two more on Paisley Road.
