A man has been charged with aggravated assault after another was found with serious injuries in Bracebridge.
Bracebridge OPP officers found the man, who was bleeding from stab wounds to his head and neck, wandering near Manitoba Street and Monck Road at around 2:30 a.m. on Saturday.
Police say due to the severity of his injuries, officers took the man to the South Muskoka Memorial Hospital for emergency medical treatment.
Following an investigation, officers say a suspect was identified and taken into custody at his residence without incident.
Police say 22-year-old Devin Milligan from Bracebridge has been charged with aggravated assault and was held in custody pending a court appearance.
According to police, the victim’s injuries have been deemed serious, but non-life-threatening.
