Two men were transported to hospital following a two-vehicle collision in Peterborough’s north end on Monday morning.
Around 6:45 a.m., emergency crews responded to a collision in the area of Chemong Road and Bellevue Street.
Peterborough Police Service say both individuals suffered minor injuries.
The southbound lanes were blocked because of the crash but have since reopened to traffic.
As a result of the investigation, a 52-year-old Toronto man was charged with failing to stop for a red light and failure to wear a seat belt – both Highway Traffic Act violations. No name was released.
