N.S. Department of Labour investigating after incident at Dartmouth Crossing construction site

The Nova Scotia Department of Labour is investigating after a worker suffered a fall at the construction site of a hotel in Dartmouth Crossing on Monday.

The department confirms they have issued a stop-work order at the site, which Global News has identified as the Courtyard by Marriott on Shubie Drive.

Their inspection is ongoing.

“We have no further information to share at this time,” said Shannon Kerr, a spokesperson for the department.

There is no word on the worker’s condition at this time but emergency services did attend the scene.
