Classes are cancelled today at the Highglen Montessori School in Prince George, after flames broke out yesterday.
Just after 3:30 p.m. a caller to 911 confirmed there was a fire in a classroom.

School had already let out for the day.
First responders found heavy black smoke coming from the northwest corner of the building. Firefighters had it completely under control by 4:30 p.m.
No one was injured but some small animals suffered smoke inhalation.
