Freezing rain, rain, and wind advisory issued for London-Middlesex

Environment Canada says depending on the temperature, the London region could be hit with freezing rain on Saturday night.

The national weather agency says 15 to 25 mm of regular rain will follow before tapering off by early Sunday afternoon. Heavy winds are forecast throughout the day on Sunday, potentially gusting to 80 km/h.

The rain and wind are associated with a Colorado low expected to track through northeastern Ontario on Sunday.

As of early Friday afternoon, forecasters are calling for a high of 3 C on Saturday and a low of 1 C, with a high of 6 C on Sunday falling to -4 C on Sunday night.
