Accused charged with manslaughter in domestic relationship with victim: RCMP

Pinehouse RCMP say a person facing a manslaughter charge in northern Saskatchewan was in a domestic relationship with the man who died earlier this month.

Officers were called to a dispute at a home in Pinehouse at roughly 12:15 p.m. on March 4.

RCMP said a second call reported a nurse, who had attended that same home to assist an injured man, needed assistance.

Officers found Lloyd Dennis Misponas, 55, and took him to a health centre where lifesaving efforts were made, but were unsuccessful.

RCMP announced on March 15 that Flora Marie Ratt, 40, was arrested and is charged in relation to Misponas’ death.

Both are from Pinehouse Lake, which is roughly 470 kilometres north of Saskatoon.
