Police say it was just before 9:30 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 24, when emergency crews were called to reports of a fire in an apartment building on Proudfoot Lane.
Officers evacuated the building and say one man suffered life-threatening injuries. He was taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead, police said.
