Summer class signals Saskatoon Transit schedule switchover

SASKATOON – The city of Saskatoon is reminding University of Saskatchewan (U of S) campus that the changeover to the summer transit schedule starts at the end of April.

During the first and second post-secondary terms, Saskatoon Transit adds more routes to support a higher volume of students.

On April 28, Saskatoon Transit will reintroduce its summer route schedule to and from campus.

The following routes will be temporarily discontinued:

  • Route 21 University
  • Route 22 City Centre
  • Route 22 McCormack
  • Route 28 Forest Grove
  • Route 28 University

The following routes will run less frequently:

  • Route 13 Lawson Heights
  • Route 13 Broadway

As of Sunday April 28, Route 90 University will be discontinued.

Transit routes discontinued over the summer will resume September 1, 2013 in time for fall classes.
