I was going to say “unbelievable” but it is believable to me because I believe MP Jody Wilson-Raybould is telling the truth. She says for four months she was subjected to consistent and sustained pressure in the SNC-Lavalin case.

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau says he was concerned about 9,000 jobs but that the decision over letting SNC-Lavalin off the prosecution’s hook in favour of what basically amounts to a fine was hers and hers alone.

She will not say if she has lost confidence in the prime minister, but sometimes silence says it all.

Others are not being so quiet.

Wilson-Raybould says she’s staying on as a Liberal MP.
